What we do

Ergo at Work enables companies to keep staff comfortable and productive by optimising the fit between them and their workplace.

We can achieve this by offering a full range of Workplace Assessments, Ergonomic Consultancy services and HSE Training courses undertaken by our highly qualified and widely experienced staff.

All ergonomic consultants at Ergo at Work are Chartered Physiotherapists holding post graduate qualifications in Ergonomics. This dual qualification enables our ergonomic consultants to identify potential risks in the workplace which may cause discomfort leading to a repetitive strain injury (RSI).

Our wide ranging experience has allowed us to help clients as diverse as global oil companies and internet moguls to IT startups and charities.

What is ergonomics

Ergonomics refers to the interaction of the worker, work equipment, and work tasks. Ergonomic evaluations focus on careful analysis of how tasks are performed, the tools used to perform them and the work environment to determine the safest, most efficient way for the worker to perform their work .

What are Repetitive Strain Injuries

Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI) is a condition that can affect muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints and nerves usually due to excessive or prolonged exposure to forceful or repetitive movements such as typing or gripping a mouse.
