Posture at Work
Specifically designed for computer users, this 45 minute training session focuses on posture and ergonomics in the office, at home and when on the move.
Participants will be educated on the basic anatomy and biomechanics of the spine, healthy working postures when sitting and standing and the causes of muscle soreness and injury. In addition you will also be taught specific stretches and exercises that will both relieve and prevent muscle tension while improving flexibility.
The course will cover the following;

- Postural alignment
- Ergonomic risk factors
- Workstation set-up in the office and home
- Healthy working postures – sitting and standing
- Desk stretches and exercises
- Benefits of posture change, exercise, and routine

This course can be delivered as an on-site seminar or webinar. It can also be pre-recorded and used as part of an induction programme or added to a company’s ergonomic resources.
